The Fall release of monarch butterflies is scheduled for October 18 at the butterfly garden on the Greenway Trail. Booths will open at 10, followed by a short program. The butterfly release will be at 10:30. Volunteers need to be at the garden at 9 to help set up the booths and information tables. There will be activities for children and a photo booth. This has always been well attended by the public, so your attendance is important. Wear you DLAMN shirts/hats as this is a very good public relations event for our chapter.
Your will count as volunteer hours, so make sure to log hours and travel time.
