DLAMN - Diana Project

About this event

Angie Richesin, with the Diana Project, will present a class on Arkansas' state butterfly, the Diana Fritillary. We will discover why this stunning creature is currently facing challenges and learn how we can make a difference in their conservation. We will explore specific plants that are crucial for the caterpillars and adults of this species, providing them with vital habitat and increasing their chances of survival.
Angie will also give us a tutorial on the iNaturalist app and how to use it. If you are not familiar with this app, or you are not utilizing it to the fullest, you will not want to miss this.
This class will count as 2 hours of NIT training or continuing education for NATs. Refreshments will be provided. Guests are invited.
