Meet at Double-Drop Falls Trailhead or Bluffton House (if not occupied), Bluffton Nature Preserve at 7:00

Join Robert super early to wander off on a quest to water the Chinquapins behind Bluffton House, off the West Bluffline Trail and the Shelf, if we have the specialized herbicide, we will spot-treat the S. lespodeza that is trying to take over the native plot in the valley. This project is scheduled very early in an attempt to beat the extreme heat that will be experienced later in the day. If we have enough folks, we can divide into teams to maximize our time more efficiently. Ed and I were able to complete the watering in about an hour.

We will also conduct a maintenance check on the weather station.

Don't forget to bring and drink water for yourself (it is best to start hydrating prior to navigating the trail) and Insect Repellent.

A carpool/caravan option from Robert’s house at 29 Ridgeview Drive in Conway (correctly located in GE) will leave at 0600; please text the night before if interested.
